Welcome to the Falls City Racing Team Main Page

The Falls City Racing Team is made up of three Louisville drivers who compete on the vintage racing car circuit. Our team races Alfa Romeo GTVs (1966-1972) on road courses like Mid-Ohio, Watkins Glen, Road America as well as other road racing circuits across the United States.

At each event, we race against cars in our own class, which may include Datsun 510s, BMW 2002s, Ford Cortinas and other very competitive Alfa Romeos. In the overall group, we will also race side by side with Porsche 911s, Porsche 914s, Datsun 240zs, Ford Escorts, Lotus Elan’s and Lotus Super 7s.

It's a very competitive sport and the Falls City team has been very successful, including Bill Abel's win in Spring of 2009 in his first-ever event. Over the last few years, Rob Davenport has been the cornerstone of the team, but with Bill Abel and Bo Lemastus joining the team in 2009, the odds of having a Falls City Alfa take the checkered flag have tripled.
